Veronica ‘Virginia’ Hayduk Horvath – Belle Vernon

Veronica “Virginia” Hayduk Horvath, 88, of Belle Vernon, Rostraver Township, passed away Thursday, Aug. 19, 2021, at her home. Born Aug. 11, 1933, in Belle Vernon, she was the daughter of the late Steve and Mary Olynick Hayduk. A resident of Belle Vernon for the past 23 years, and previously of Dunlevy, Mrs. Horvath was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church, Belle Vernon. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Rosemarie and Leonard Krolik of Rostraver Township, and Suzanne and Jeff Hazuka of Donora; and grandchildren, Leonard Krolik, Michelle Bednar, Derek Hazuka and Jared Hazuka. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Horvath; three brothers, John, Steve and Cyril Hayduk; and two sisters, Anna Gadus and Mary Walkush. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME & CREMATIONS, family owned and operated, 626 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, 724-929-6183. Prayers of transfer will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, followed by a 10 a.m. funeral Mass at St. Sebastian R.C. Church with the Rev. Michael Crookston as celebrant. Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery. In accordance with state mandates, social distancing must be maintained.
