Dana Yvonne Corrick, 50, of Monessen, died unexpectedly Saturday, Aug. 14, 2021, in her home. She was born April 4, 1971, in Monongahela, the daughter of Janet Baxter Gossett, who survives and resides in Charleroi, and stepdaughter of the late John Gossett, who died in 2005. Dana was a graduate of Charleroi High School and California University of Pennsylvania. She was an active member of Community Baptist Church and was formerly employed at World Kitchen, both of Charleroi. Dana was a dedicated mom and a dog enthusiast. She had a loving heart and a vivacious spirit unmatched by any. In addition to her mother, she is survived by two sons, Ian Espey of Munhall and Daniel Hamay; two grandchildren, Roman and Cassidy Espey; brother, Charles Espey; and sister, Andrea Gossett, both of Charleroi; nieces, Alisha Baker and her children Bennett and Skyla, Katelynn, Janet and Marisa Espey; and her beloved dog, Miss Fitt. Dana was preceded in death by her husband, Edison “Rick” Corrick, who died Dec. 11, 2010. Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of life at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 21, 2021, at Community Baptist Church, 1 Lockview Ave., Charleroi, PA 15022, with the Rev. Kevin Roberts officiating. Interment will be private in Fells Cemetery, Fellsburg. Arrangements are under the direction of the FRYE FUNERAL HOME INC., Monongahela.
