Carol Evans Brounce – North Charleroi

Carol Evans Brounce, 73, of North Charleroi, passed away Thursday, Aug. 5, 2021, at Grandview Estates of Elizabeth. Born Aug. 2, 1948, in North Charleroi, she was the daughter of the late Richard A. and Ann Maley Evans. A resident of North Charleroi for the past 45 years, Mrs. Brounce was a member of First Christian Church of Fallowfield, was a registered nurse at Monongahela Valley Hospital for 36 years and retired from Jefferson Hospital with 10 years of service. Carol loved life and enjoyed vacationing with her family at the beach and mostly enjoyed her grandchildren and taking them on “great adventures.” She is survived by her husband, William Brounce, to whom she was married 52 years; two daughters and sons-in-law, Mychele and Chris Iddings of North Charleroi, and Lynda and Ben Billy of Fallowfield Township; three grandchildren, Krysten Iddings, Maley Iddings and Garrin Billy; great-granddaughter, Adelina Iddings; brother and sister-in-law, Richard A. and Edith Evans of Elrama; sister and brother-in-law, Marilyn and Gene Sethman of Charleroi; sister-in-law, Genevieve Evans of Speers; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Ronald Lee Evans Sr. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 7:30 p.m. Monday at PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME & CREMATIONS LLC, family owned and operated, 626 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, 724-929-6183, followed by funeral services at 7:30 p.m. with the Rev. Charles Cochran of First Christian Church of Fallowfield officiating. Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery.  The family wishes to extend a special thank you to VITAS Hospice and her nurse, Melissa, for their care and support.
