Dr. Kelly N. Fields, 40, of Gilberts Ill., formerly of Donora, died Wednesday June 30, 2021. Born Oct. 11, 1980 in Monroeville, she is the daughter of Dawn Kellogg Fields of Donora. Kelly was a graduate of Ringgold High School, Class of 1998. She completed one semester at Chatham University in Oakland and spent the next eight years in the U.S. Army, where she was stationed in Fort Bragg, N.C. After returning home, she continued her education earning her Master of Arts in counseling psychology at Fayetteville State University, N.C.; a Doctor of Philosophy degree in combined integrated clinical and counseling psychology at the University of Alabama, with an internship at the Harry S. Truman Memorial Veterans Hospital in Columbia, Mo. She also earned a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from Campbell University, where she finished summa cum laude, and then received a master’s degree in neuropsychology. She then began working for the Thompson Memory Center and was licensed by the State of Iowa Board of Psychology. Kelly enjoyed walking and reading in her free time. She was always out and about to gardens, museums and educational and fun trips with her four children. She always reached out to help others when she could. Surviving in addition to her mother, is a son, Julian Londono; and three daughters, Isabella J., Natalia A. and Alexandra N. Fields, all of Illinois; a brother, Ryan and wife Malerie Dolton of Belle Vernon; an uncle, Robert and wife Catherine Fields; and her former husband, Alexander Londono of Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Friends are invited to attend a memorial service at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville beginning at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 10, 2021.
