Rawlins-Heath named 1st MV NAACP Young, Gifted and Black awardee
For the MVI
The Mon Valley NAACP selected Justice Rawlins-Heath of Monessen as its first Young, Gifted and Black awardee for the month of July.
The NAACP will choose and name a young person each month for this award.
Rawlins-Heath received an undergraduate degree in sociology from Duquesne University with a minor in psychology and criminal justice. He was also a recipient of a a football scholarship at Duquesne University.
He received a Juris Doctor degree from New England Law/Boston with a certificate in intellectual property law. Justice is treasurer of the Black Law Students Association, and treasurer, of the Entertainment and Sports Law Student Association.
Justice hopes to gain legal experience in the sports industry with professional and collegiate athlete contracts. His dream is to work his way through the ranks and become a powerful voice at a position in an NFL front office.
His family includes his mother, Laurie Sutovich, brothers, Joe Heath III and Chavas Rawlins Sr.; a sister, Chelsey Heath and an aunt, Kim Heath.
