Bert William Hutsenpiller – Rostraver Township

Bert William Hutsenpiller, 79, of Rostraver Township, died Thursday, July 22, 2021. Born in Pittsburgh on July 14, 1942, he was the son of the late Bert A. and Grace Mitchell Hutsenpiller. Bert was retired from General Motors, where he was a crane hooker. He enjoyed listening to doo wop music and dancing and he attended The Church in Sutersville. He loved his cats and took care of many homeless kittens. He honorably served his country in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam. He is survived by his son, Jeffrey Hutsenpiller of Smithton; daughters, Beth A. Glenn of West Newton and Susan Vlasak of Belle Vernon; grandchildren, Joshua, Danielle, Gregory and Zoe; and sister, Arlene Conrad of Pittsburgh. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Rose Marie Hutsenpiller; grandson, Christopher Hutsenpiller; and son-in-law, Daniel Glenn. Private visitation was held in the JAMES C. STUMP FUNERAL HOME INC., 580 Circle Drive, Rostraver Township, 724-929-7934, www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com and Interment, with Military Honors, was in National Cemetery of The Alleghenies.
