Carala Albero Trunzo, 74, of South Greensburg, died Monday, July 26, 2021. She was born March 23, 1947, in Monongahela, a daughter of the late Guy D. and Rose Milton Garry. After graduating from the Pittsburgh Beauty Academy, Carala owned and operated the Hair Harbour for 27 years. She was also the resident hair dresser for Weatherwood Manor in Greensburg for 22 years, She continued to provide excellent service for her clients up until her illness a few weeks ago. She was an avid pet lover, taking special care of her Boston terriers and her cats. Carala enjoyed music, dancing, motorcycle riding and day trips with her long-time friend, Jerry. She was preceded in death by her father, Guy Denny Albero; mother, Rose Milton Garry and her husband, James E. Garry; brother, Guy Albero; and her Boston terrier, Glory, who just recently passed. She is survived by her three children, Jeffrey M. Trunzo (Ann) of Coal Center, Kimberly DeLeonibus (Basile) of Belle Vernon and Terrance Trunzo (Jeannine DeGennaro) of Greensburg; seven grandchildren, Megan and Matthew Trunzo, Steven DeLeonibus (Beth), Brian DeLeonibus (Amelia), Jackie DeLeonibus and Olivia and Mia Moore; three great-grandchildren, Blaire, Gino and Ally; sister-in-law, Betty Albero of Monongahela; a nephew, Guy Albero (Kimberly); a niece, Laura Arbuckle (Mark); long-time friend, Jerry; close friend, Marie Stolitca; her Boston terriers, Lily, Coco and Abbey; and her cats, Louis, Clark and Ripley. Some of Carala’s final words were, “You are all like Easter eggs in a basket, everyone special and unique in their own way. Family first, everything else will be good.” At her request, there will be no public viewing or services. Carala’s family has entrusted her care to CLEMENT L. PANTALONE FUNERAL HOME INC., 409 W.
