Garnet E. Myers Wach, 92, formerly of Monongahela, died Wednesday, June 30, 2021, in Port Charlotte, Fla. She was born Feb. 16, 1929, in Monongahela, the daughter of the late Robert and Nellie Harbaugh Myers. Mrs. Wach was a graduate of Monongahela High School, Class of 1948. Lutheran by faith, she was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Mrs. Wach was a former member and past president of the Monongahela Women’s Club and a few of her hobbies and pastimes included playing bridge and quilting. She is survived by her sister, Janet Blankenbuehler and husband Frank of Punta Gorda, Fla.; her nephew and wife, Frank Jr. and Bonnie Blankenbuehler of Port Charlotte, Fla.; and a brother, Robert “Runner” Myers of Monongahela. Preceding her in death was her husband, Daniel J. Wach, who died May 4, 2013. Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 28, 2021, in the Sacred Heart Cemetery Mausoleum, Carroll Township, with the Rev. Mark Woomer officiating.
