Edith J. Snyder, 89, of Fort Pierce, Fla., and formerly of Charleroi, passed away on Thursday, July 22, 2021. She was born in Monongahela on Nov. 11, 1931, a daughter of the late Maynard Elmer and Helen McKinley Devore. Edith was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ, Roscoe. Surviving are three daughters, Patricia (Michael) Jamison of Charleroi, Mary Jane Rogolino of Fort Pierce, Fla., with whom she made her home, and Thelma Myers of Rostraver Township; four step-children, Isabella (Sissy) Pierce, Walter (Debbie) Behanna and Linda Behanna, all of Monongahela, and Grover (Candy) Behanna Jr. of Charleroi; her brother, Richard L. Devore of the state of Indiana; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Edith was preceded in death by her daughter, Elizabeth Ann Anielewski; a grandson, Mattheau Yates; and a brother, Maynard Elmer Devore II. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, July 26, at MELENYZER FUNERAL HOMES & CREMATION SERVICES INC., 825 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, where funeral services will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 27, with Elder James Abbott.
