Antonino Catuara, 91, of California, Pa. , died Tuesday, July 20, 2021. He was born Thursday, Jan. 30, 1930, in Santa Elisabetta, Sicily, a son of the late Salvatore and Stefana Catuara. He was a member of Local 286 where he worked for 42 years. In addition to his parents, Antonino was preceded in death by his first wife, Madeline Wells Catuara in 1992; and one daughter, Nina Catuara in 1971. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Edna Ruiz Sanchez Catuara of California, Pa.; four children, Stephanie Norizsan and husband Richard of Saratoga , N.Y., Samuel Catuara and wife Carmel of Belle Vernon, Daniel Catuara of California, Pa., and David Sanchez of Monessen;  brother and sister-in-law, Philip and Martha Catura; four grandchildren, Jennifer Ress and husband Dustin, Jennifer Lynn McBain and husband Ken, Margaret Villella, Megan Piktel and husband Brian; 11 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren. Friends will be received in the MARISCOTTI FUNERAL HOME INC., Anthony N. Mariscotti, supervisor, 323 Fourth St., California, Pa., for a memorial visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 23, 2021. Memorial funeral services will begin at 8 p.m.,  with his son-in-law, the Rev. Richard Norizsan, officiating. In lieu of flowers,  the family requests contributions to the American Heart Association 444 Liberty Ave. No. 1300, Pittsburgh, PA 15222.
