Roberta ‘Bobbi’ Loos – Monongahela

Roberta “Bobbi” Loos, 61, of Monongahela, died Monday, July 19, 2021, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center, surround by her family and loved ones. She was born Nov. 23, 1959, in McKees Rocks. One of 14 children and three sets of twins, she was the daughter of the late William and Leah McCreary Doerr. Bobbi was a 1977 graduate of Sto-Rox High School and worked for many years in the environmental services department at Jefferson Hospital. She was a member of St. Andrew the Apostle Parish (formerly Transfiguration Church) in Monongahela. She is survived by her husband, Kirk A. Loos, whom she married Sept. 30, 1977; two sons and daughters-in-law, Kirk D. (Casey) Loos of Hummelstown, Pa., and Christopher (Lindsey) Loos of Raccoon Township; a daughter and son-in-law, Mary (Bernard) O’Connor of East McKeesport; nine grandchildren, who were her pride and joy, Madison, Zachary, Taylor and Max Jarnot and Levi, Noah, Parker, Easton and Avery Loos. Friends will be received at MARSHALL MARRA FUNERAL HOME, 216 Chess St., Monongahela, 724-258-6767, marshallmarrafuneralhome.com, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday. Blessing prayers will begin in the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. Friday, July 23, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at St. Andrew the Apostle Parish, 722 W. Main St., Monongahela beginning at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Monongahela Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made in Bobbi’s name to the March of Dimes, Donation Processing Center P.O.
