Michael R. Morgan Sr. – Washington

Michael R. Morgan Sr., 87, of Washington, died Wednesday, July 14, 2021. Born in Webster on July 23, 1933, he was the son of the late Michael and Virginia Taylor Morgan. Mickey was retired from the Teamsters Union, working with them for 49 years. He honorably served his country in the U.S. Army. He was loved by all and will certainly be missed by all. He is survived by his sons, Michael R. (Karen) Morgan Jr. of Rostraver and Mark F. Morgan of Newport Richie, Fla.; grandchildren, Brandi Lynn Morgan, Mark J. W. (Lindsey) Morgan, Crystal L. Morgan, Mary M. Morgan and Joseph M. Morgan; great-grandchildren, Chase, Luna and Dominic; sisters-in-law, Kathy (Harry) Huber of Apple Valley, Calif. and Patty (Jim) Gillingham of Rostraver; and his loving friend and companion, Jean Kinder of Washington. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley A. Debnar Morgan. Friends will be received on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at JAMES C. STUMP FUNERAL HOME INC., 580 Circle Drive, Rostraver Township, 724-929-7934, www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com, where a funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday with the Rev. Kent Lighthall officiating. Interment will follow in St. Dominic Cemetery.
