Gear scramble at firefighters convention

Steven Campbell of the Allison 2 Volunteer Fire Department heads for the finish line during the gear scramble Thursday at the Fayette County Firefighters Convention in Brownsville. Convention activities continue tonight with a short parade at 4 p.m., the Battle of the Barrel at 6 p.m. and live music from 9-11 p.m. at the Cast Iron Amphitheatre. The convention continues Saturday, closing with fireworks at dusk.
