Larry Axton, 69, of Monongahela, died Monday, July 12, 2021, in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born Oct. 31, 1951, in Jeannette, the son of Helen Stout Axton. Larry was retired from Levin Furniture Store, where he worked in sales for many years. His family was his whole life. He loved boating, fishing and going to Myrtle Beach. He is survived by his wife, Debbie McLaughlin Axton, with whom he celebrated 47 years of marriage on June 1, 2021; two daughters, Brandi Axton and Lauri Mosley; two grandchildren, Brody and Laney Susick; brother, Bob Axton; father and mother-in-law, Frank and Peg McLaughlin; brother-in-law, Frank McLaughlin Jr.; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 16, 2021, at FRYE FUNERAL HOME INC., 427 West Main St., Monongahela. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 300 5th Ave., Ste. 6, Waltham, MA 02451. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.fryefuneralhome.com.
