Clara Lou Pascoe – Speers

Clara Lou Pascoe, 67, of Speers, passed away on Wednesday, July 7, 2021, at UPMC Montifore. Born in North Charleroi on Oct. 18, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Delphine Sance Pennline. Clara Lou was a 1971 graduate of Charleroi High School and received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from California University of Pennsylvania. She was the executive director of Fayette County Community Foundation. Clara Lou was a member of St. Andrew the Apostle Church, Charleroi. She enjoyed being out in nature hiking, spending time with her grandchildren and was a big fan of the WVU Mountaineers. Clara Lou is survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law, Gary and Karen Pascoe of Denver, Colo., and Brady and Jennifer Pascoe of Washington, Pa.; four grandchildren, Esme, Kenzie, Dante and Lukas; her brother and sister-in-law, Peter and Sally Pennline of Charleroi; and niece and nephew, Jennifer Pennline and Brian Pennline. Receiving of friends will take place at MELENYZER FUNERAL HOMES & CREMATION SERVICES INC. 1008 Furlong Ave., Roscoe, from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, July 17, 2021. A memorial service will begin at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Candace Cook officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be given to www.oralcancerfoundation.donordrive.com or www.contribute.heinzhistorycenter.org.
