The Fun Fest will return to Cedar Creek Park this year.

The Westmoreland County Bureau of Parks and Recreation will sponsor the 34th annual August Fun Fest from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Aug. 8 at the park in Rostraver Township.

The event was canceled last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, along with many other park festivals and activities.

Lauren Jones, parks communications coordinator, said park officials are excited to get back to business in Westmoreland County.

“We almost lost all of our events last year,” Jones said. “So we are just now getting back to our normal routine and are excited to invite everyone back to our parks.”

Jones said the event will offer something for residents of all ages, including live music, food, a petting zoo and plenty of inflatables and bounce houses.

Chuck Blasko and The Vogues will headline the free event with a performance in the amphitheater from 2 to 3:30 p.m.

Guests are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs or blankets for the show.

The Vogues will perform oldies such as “Turn Around Look At Me” and “Five O’Clock World.”
