Janet Pfeister – Monongahela

Janet Pfeister, 70, of Monongahela, passed away on July 2, 2021, in her home after a courageous three-year battle with cancer. She was born in North Charleroi on Oct. 14, 1950, to the late Joseph and Beatrice Vigliotti Giannamore. She was a graduate of Donora High School. Janet worked as a bakery manager for Trax Farms. She was a member of St. Andrew the Apostle Parish. Janet loved to cook, bake and go to the casinos, especially her trips to Las Vegas with her husband. On July 31, Janet and Larry would have celebrated 50 years of marriage. Janet is survived by her loving husband, Larry; daughter, Shelley (Doug) Keznor of Belle Vernon; grandson, Doug Keznor; her sister, Jean Rossini of Monongahela; and nephews and great-niece and great-nephew. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, William Giannamore; and brother-in-law, Donner Rossini. A private memorial Mass will be held at a later date at St. Andrew the Apostle Parish. ROBERT A.
