William Shawn Beveridge – Charleroi

William Shawn Beveridge, 18, of Charleroi, passed away Tuesday, June 29, 2021. He was born Oct. 18, 2002, in Camp Hill, a son of William S. Beveridge IV and Rosalie Felix Beveridge of Charleroi. He attended Susquenita Elementary School and since 2010 attended Charleroi schools. He also attended Mon Valley Career & Technology Center in Speers. William loved reading, computers, nature, traveling abroad and helping his father restore cars. He was a member of the Saint Katharine Drexel Parish. A pilot, he flew a Cessna and was a member of the No. 601 Civil Air Patrol. William enjoyed baseball, playing in the summer for the Charleroi youth league and in the fall for the Rostraver youth league. Surviving in addition to his parents are his maternal grandmother, Rosalina Felix of the Philippines; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Deceased are his paternal grandparents, William S. Beveridge III and Lena Cantoni Beveridge and maternal grandfather, Elpidio Felix. Friends are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at THOMPSON-MARODI FUNERAL HOME INC., 809 Main St., Bentleyville, 724-239-2255, where a prayer service will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, July 6, followed at 10:30 a.m. by a Mass of Christian burial at Saint Katharine Drexel, 126 Church St., Bentleyville, with the Reverend Edward L. Yuhas, pastor, as celebrant. At the church, non-vaccinated individuals are required to wear masks or facial coverings and social distancing will be maintained.
