Terry W. Gray – Washington Township, Belle Vernon

Terry W. Gray, 83, of Washington Township, Belle Vernon, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 1, 2021, in his home. A son of the late John and Besse Lint Gray, he was born in Monessen on Jan. 24, 1938. A lifelong resident of Belle Vernon, he had been employed at Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel, Monessen plant, working for over 30 years at Gibsonton Yard. After his retirement, he and his wife became world travelers, taking cruises to the Bahamas, the Mediterranean, Spain, Italy, Greece, Croatia and Hawaii. Terry was a veteran of the U.S. Marines. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Sandra L. Richie Gray; a daughter, Tracie Gray Igoe of Belle Vernon; two sons, Douglas Gray and his wife Joellyn Gray of Belle Vernon, and Jeffrey Gray and his partner Jeff McNabb of Phoenix, Ariz.; three grandchildren, Cydney Igoe, Erinn and husband Kristopher Peterson and Makenze Gray (Thomas Johnson), all of Belle Vernon; three great-grandchildren, Ayden Igoe, Dayne Igoe, Finley Peterson and one on the way; and a brother in-law, Harry Ellison of Belle Vernon. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Wanda Ellison, Naomi Jones and Helen Macak; and a brother, Eugene Gray. There will be no visitation or funeral services.
