Marianne S. Beckman – West Mifflin

Marianne S. Beckman, 70, of West Mifflin, passed away on Friday, June 25, 2021, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center. A daughter of the late Verner and Rosalie Trozzo Beckman, she was born in Belle Vernon, on March 1, 1951. Previously of Rostraver Township, Marianne had been a resident of West Mifflin for the past 30 years. She had been employed as a trained phlebotomist, first at Homestead Hospital then at Jefferson Regional Medical Center for over 40 years, where she rose to the position of director of the lab before taking an early retirement. Marianne was well loved by her family, friends and neighbors and loved her dogs, Buster and Bailey. She is survived by a brother and sister in-law, Don and Vicki Beckman of Rostraver Township; her only niece, Dr. Erika Buchanan and her husband Brian Buchanan of Squirrel Hill; and a great-nephew, Ronin Buchanan. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY INC., 700 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, 724-929-5300, www.FergusonFuneralHomeandCrematory.com, with the Rev. Dennis Handley officiating. Inurnment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
