Judy Axton – Monessen

Judy Axton, 68, of Monessen, passed away Saturday, June 19, 2021, in Mon Valley Hospital, surrounded by her family. She was born Feb. 11, 1953, in Washington, Pa., daughter of William Holmes and Sharon Ward Holmes She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Edward H. Axton; daughter, Renee Watson; son, Samuel; and daughter, Shelly; two sisters, Rebeccca Thomas and Kathy Moore; two brothers, Michael and Douglas Holmes; and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Samuel Holmes. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to ELEY/MCCRORY FUNERAL HOME, INC., Fayette City.
