Khlar Linwood Price Jr., 86, passed away peacefully at his home in Fallowfield Township on June 24, 2021. He was the son of the late Khlar L. Price Sr. and Rose Telban Price. He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Jean Parker Price. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Joan Jordan; brother, Lloyd Price; and son-in-law Bart Gregg. He was the beloved father of Robert (Janet) Price, Coral (Russell) Duffy, Katherine Gregg, and Khlar L. (Susan) Price III; the cherished grandfather of Candice (Christian) Conley, Jessica (Charles) Foules, Christopher (Kimberly) Price, Danielle Price and Bradley (Megan) Price; and the great-grandfather of Makayla, Vivian, Harrison, Naomi and Paisley. Khlar was a veteran of the U.S. Marines, for which he served during the Korean War. He was a proud member of the American Legion Post 22, Charleroi Elks No. 494, the Order of Odd Fellows Lodge 1030, and the Charleroi French Club. He retired from Conrail in 1997 after a 46-year career on the railroad. He enjoyed spending time at his cabin in Tionesta, caring for his prized vegetable garden, hunting and fishing. Friends and family will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 29, 2021, at SCHROCK-HOGAN FUNERAL CREMATION SERVICES INC., 226 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 30, 2021, at Saint Andrew the Apostle Parish, Charleroi site, 624 Washington Ave., Charleroi.
