Raymond “Ray” D. Arnold, age 52, departed this life on Monday, June 21, 2021, at his home in Charleroi. Ray was born on Aug. 18, 1968, in Charleroi to the late Charles W. Arnold Sr. and Charlotte Ermlick Arnold. A 1987 graduate of Monessen High School, Ray was known for his quick wit, infectious smile and his kind and compassionate heart. He was an inspiration to many. He could be called on to fix any problem with a house, car and more. Ray married Amber LaRae Fields on July 7, 2015. Ray leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Amber; one daughter, Tierra Davis and two stepchildren; one grandson, Luka McGriff; one sister, Victoria (Darnel) Howell; three brothers, Charles (Marcia) Arnold Jr., Gregory Arnold and Jamie Jones; one stepbrother, Robert Ward; one stepsister, Erica Ward; one great-aunt, Margaret “Peggy” Willis; three aunts, Gerri Arnold, Debbie Arnold and Nancy Rebar; one uncle, Eugene “Gene” Ermlick; 19 nieces and nephews; 11 great-nieces and great-nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends. He will also be missed by his faithful four-legged companion, Princess, who was always by his side. Visitation will be at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, 230 Reed Ave., Monessen, Pa., from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 25, 2021. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, June 26, with Elder Jack Howell officiating. Final celebration has been gently placed in the hands of HOUSE OF JACKSON MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 546 Thompson Ave., Donora, Pa., Karl Jackson, funeral director, 724-379-5420.
