Plans go on display Friday for the replacement of Fayette Street Bridge in North Belle Vernon.
The virtual public display will be available for review through July 12. PennDOT District 12 spokesman Jay Ofsanik said the virtual displays have been well received by the public.
“It gives people the opportunity to review it at their leisure over a two-week period,” he said.
Ofsanik said not everyone can attend an in-person evening display, so even after COVID-19 restrictions are totally lifted, PennDOT will probably continue to offer virtual options.
The Fayette Street Bridge project will be a complete replacement of the bridge over I-70.
“The biggest traffic impact is that it carries the on and off ramps for I-70,” Ofsanik said.
