A funeral Mass was held on Monday, June 14, 2021, at St. Andrew the Apostle Parish for Mary H. Hodge, 92, of Pittsburgh, formerly of Monongahela, who died Wednesday, June 9, 2021, at Good Samaritan Hospice in Wexford. Born March 17, 1929, in Newry, Pa., Mary worked as a housekeeper for more than 45 years for the late Father Paul P. Leger (former pastor of Transfiguration Catholic Church in Monongahela), who passed away in 1995. She is survived by a sister, Elizabeth Bowers of Hudson, Fla.; and a great friend, Dorothy Weldon of Monongahela, whom she will truly be missed by. Interment was private and was held in Calvary Cemetery, Pittsburgh. MARSHALL MARRA FUNERAL HOME, 216 Chess St., Monongahela, 724-258-6767, was in charge of her arrangements.
