Nathan Matthew Paydo – Monongahela

By obits

Nathan Matthew Paydo, 42, of Monongahela, was called home to the Lord on June 12, 2021, after a short battle with cancer. He passed peacefully surrounded by family. Born on May 31, 1979, he was a graduate of Ringgold High School and served the United Brotherhood of Carpenters Local 251 for more than 20 years. Nathan was a coffee connoisseur and film fanatic, especially horror movies. He enjoyed mountain biking, fishing, gaming, holidays, ice cream cakes, a fine bourbon and heavy metal music. He was quiet and generous; hilarious and brave. And he will be missed beyond measure. Nathan is survived by his parents, Charles and Barbara Paydo of Monongahela; a sister and brother-in-law, Emily and William Pope of Mt. Lebanon; aunts, uncles, extended family and friends. The family would like to express their immense gratitude to the care teams from AHN/Jefferson and Amedisys Hospice for their tireless efforts, care and kindness. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Salgi Esophageal Cancer Research Foundation. Arrangements have been entrusted to LEONARD M. PAVLIC FUNERAL HOMES INC., 235 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi. Online condolences may be expressed at www.pavlicfuneralhomes.com.
