Dennis ‘Denny’ Gondella – Finleyville

Dennis “Denny” Gondella, 76, of Finleyville, passed away of heart failure Friday, June 11, 2021, at his home with his family by his side. He was born May 15, 1945, in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Emil and Mildred Abel Gondella. Denny owned and operated D&E Hardwood Lumber Inc. He was owner of the former Finleyville Fur Post and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Surviving are his wife, Irene DeMarchi Gondella; a son, Eric Gondella of Monongahela; a daughter, Kimberly Ostrander; two sisters, Arlene (Krava)Ramos and Cathy Caughey; one grandson, Eric Gondella Jr.; three granddaughters, Natasha and Erica Ostrander and Danika Young; and three great-grandchildren, Lexa, Tyler and Monroe. Denny will be greatly missed by his grandchildren, family and friends. At the request of the deceased, there will be no public visitation. A wake will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of KEGEL FUNERAL HOME INC., Finleyville.
