Patricia Price Ream – Belle Vernon, Rostraver Township

Patricia Price Ream, 79, of Belle Vernon, Rostraver Township, passed away Thursday, May 27, 2021, at Mon Valley Care Center, Carroll Township. Born Feb. 1, 1942, in North Charleroi, she was the daughter of the late Edmund and Mary Muryn Price. A lifelong resident of Belle Vernon, Patti was a member and elder of First Presbyterian Church of Belle Vernon and a retired secondary education science teacher at Belle Vernon Area High School, also serving as yearbook sponsor for many years. She was a member and served as past matron of the Order of the Eastern Star in Belle Vernon, enjoyed crocheting, knitting and most of all spending time with her granddaughter, the light of her life, Emma, taking her shopping, baking and going to see Emma in her musicals and concerts. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Mary Beth and Dan Burkley of North Belle Vernon; granddaughter Emma Burkley; brother and sister-in-law, Ed and Pamela Price of Lorena, Texas; sister, Joyce Fought of New Stanton; nieces and nephews, Stacey Smith, Jessica Fought, Aland and Heather Price and Andrew Price. She is preceded in death by her husband, Henry F. Ream, who died in May 2004; and a daughter, Louisa Jane Ream. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 1, at PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME & CREMATIONS LLC, family owned and operated, 626 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, 724-929-6183. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Mary Kay Glunt of First Presbyterian Church officiating. Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
