Ringgold’s Massey stars at Baldwin Invitational

The Mid-Mon Valley had a handful of medalists Saturday at the girls portion of the Baldwin Invitational at Baldwin High School.
Leading the way for the region was Ringgold’s Angelina Massey.
The freshman broke the school record in the triple jump with a leap measuring 34-03.75.
It was one of three medals she brought home on the day. She finished fifth in both the 100m and 200m dashes.
In the 100, she ran a 13.11 event and followed that up with a 27.22 finish in the 200.
Other medalists from the Valley included Elizabeth Forward’s Paige Myers in the triple jump. Her jump measured 34-10.0. Thomas Jefferson’s Bella Vozar picked up a sixth-place finish in the 400m dash with a time of 1:01.59.
Greensburg Central Catholic’s Corinn Brewer took sixth in the 800m run with a time of 2:19.95. She added another medal in the mile run, finishing in 5:16.70.
