Jennie E. Corsi Bartolotta – Murrysville, formerly of Monongahela
Jennie E. Corsi Bartolotta, 93, of Murrysville, formerly of Monongahela, passed away Tuesday, May 4, 2021, in Redstone Highlands Assisted Living, Murrysville. Born Sept. 24, 1927, in Aliquippa, she was the daughter of Giovanni and Assunta Condenci Corsi. A member of Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church in Murrysville, she was a former member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Monongahela. For over 20 years, she worked alongside her husband, Albert, at their three Shop ‘n Save supermarkets. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Lori Bartolotta of Export; two daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Thomas Kustron of Monongahela, Paula and Eric Roberts of Export; six cherished grandchildren, Kim Salaske, Karey (John) Gabrielli, Eric M. (Amanda) Roberts and Anthony, Zach and Andrea Bartolotta; seven great-grandchildren, Katlyn Salaske, Jack, Luke and Sam Gabrielli and Vienna Grace, Mia Hope and Nico Jacob Roberts; a sister-in-law, Frances Bartolotta of Monongahela; and many nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death was her beloved husband of 70 years, Albert Bartolotta, who died June 28, 2017, along with numerous siblings. Friends will be received at MARSHALL MARRA FUNERAL HOME, 216 Chess St., Monongahela, 724-258-6767, from 3 to 6 p.m. Thursday. Funeral prayers will begin in the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. Friday, May 7, 2021, followed by a Mass of Christian burial that will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at St. Andrew the Apostle Parish, 722 W. Main St., Monongahela. At the family’s request, interment will be private and held in Monongahela Cemetery. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be sent to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 600 Waterfront Drive, No. 210, Pittsburgh, PA 15222, or stjude.org.
