Robert F. Sleith – New Eagle

Robert F. Sleith, 50, of New Eagle, died Sunday, May 2, 2021, in his home from long-term health complications. Born June 11, 1970, in New Eagle, he is the son of Charles D. Sr. (Robin) Sleith of Carroll Township and the late Lorraine J. “Lorrie” (Goldbach) Collins, who passed away Dec. 18, 2017. Bob graduated from Ringgold High School, Class of 1988, and worked for years with his brother Chuck as a carpet and flooring installer. He always enjoyed working on cars and buying and fixing drones. Surviving are his daughter, Devin McCune and fiancé, Matt Filbert of New Eagle; a grandson, Andrew Filbert; his stepfather, Patrick Collins of New Eagle; a niece, Shannon N. Sleith of Donora; longtime companion, Kim Sobczak; and his chihuahua, Bubba. Preceding him in death, in addition to his mother, was his brother, Charles D. Sleith Jr., who died Dec. 12, 2019. Friends will be received at MARSHALL MARRA FUNERAL HOME, 216 Chess St., Monongahela, Pa., from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, May 6, 2021.
