Karen S. Curcio, 73, of Newell, passed away Wednesday, April 28, 2021, in her residence. She was born April 13, 1948, in Charleroi, daughter of Harry A. Hough and Lois Irene Roy Hough. She was a member of Fayette City Alliance Church. She was a cashier at the Belle Vernon Walmart. She is survived by her husband, Robert William Curcio; daughter, Lisa Miller and husband Charles of Fayette City; son, Joseph Curcio and Gina Cunningham of Newell; son, William Curcio and wife Rena of Belle Vernon; granddaughter, Kaleigh Miller, granddaughter, Rachel Curcio, grandson, Ryan Curcio; and great-grandchild, Brayden Gaiter. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, David Hough; and a sister, Kathy Brant. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 30, 2021, at ELEY-MCCRORY FUNERAL HOME INC., 334 Main St., Fayette City, Pa., www.eleymccroryfuneralhome.com. Funeral services will be held at 8 p.m. Friday evening in the funeral home with Pastor Christian Jacobs officiating. Masks are to be worn in the funeral home and social distancing is to be practiced.
