Esther Ermlick – California, Pa., formerly of Newell

Esther Ermlick, 89, of California, Pa., formerly of Newell, passed away peacefully in Cambridge Creekside Nursing Home, on April 7, 2021. Born in Newell on Jan. 18, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Theodosia Myrga. She retired from Allied Chemical Corp. in Newell and California University of Pennsylvania. She is survived by four grandchildren, Sarah (Scott) Green, Lillian (Richard) McMahon of Kunkletown, Pa., and John Ermlick Jr. and Esther Ermlick of Palmerton, Pa.; three great-grandchildren, Kaley and Kara Green and Stephanie McMahon; special nephew, Bud Aglio and family of Newell; daughter-in-law, Margaret Ermlick; and a friend, Larry Walatica of Dunlevy. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Ermlick; son, John Ermlick; and granddaughter, Margaret Ermlick. Funeral services are private and have been entrusted to MARISCOTTI FUNERAL HOME INC., Anthony N. Mariscotti, Supervisor, Fourth St., California, PA, 15419. Interment was in Charleroi Cemetery, Charleroi, PA.
