Denise Mary Kuskie – Donora

Again, the Heaven bound train stopped in the Mon Valley and 43-year-old Denise Mary Kuskie of Donora stepped on board. She was the daughter of the late Ronald Kuskie and Patricia Caul Kuskie. Denise, aka “Auntie Denise,” was a praise dancer for her church, Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church of Whitsett and was a mentor for the youth of the church. She loved R&B and the Motown sounds. She graduated from Seton LaSalle High School, Class of 1995. Denise is survived by her family matriarch, Linda Garfold of Royal Palm Beach, Fla.; brothers, Dennis (Belinda) Kuskie of Donora and Donnie Kuskie of Fort McMurray, Alberta, Canada; sister, Dorothy Mulheren of Lexington, S.C., daughter-niece, Savannah Kuskie; special niece, Syleena Diggs; special brother-in-law, Gary Diggs and a host of nieces and nephews. Denise is now reunited with her mom, dad and grandparents. Pastor Donna Lowe of Pilgrim Rest Baptist church will offer the eulogy of celebration. Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, April 23, with chapel service starting at 2 p.m., at House of Jackson Memorial Chapel, 546 Thompson Ave., Donora. Final celebration has been gently placed in the hands of HOUSE OF JACKSON MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 546 Thompson Ave., Donora, Karl Jackson, Funeral director, 724-379-5420.
