Brent Carpenter – Monessen

Brent Carpenter, 44, of Monessen, passed away suddenly on April 12, 2021. He was born July 19, 1976, in Charleroi, son of Sheila Groomes and the late Daniel Carpenter. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Taquaia S. Carpenter; and his brothers, Gregory, Danny Carpenter and Dennis Hawkins. He was a long-time resident of Donora, where he attended Ringgold High School. He was employed at the Virginia Shipyard as a welder. He also worked at Four Oaks Nursing Home and Country Care Manor as a cook, which he lived to do. He hosted many family gatherings. He was a member of St. Paul Baptist Church. Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Sheila Groomes; loving and devoted companion, Harlee Jericho; and his children, Dominique Kinds, Kalif, Brent II, Daron, A’Montae, A’Brent Carpenter and daughters, Brentney, Nyleah, Amiyah Carpenter and A’lasia Harrison. Brent also leaves to cherish his memory his sisters, Tashia (Ezra) Ellis, Darlene Kilmore, Tina and Deanna Carpenter; brothers, Danny Jr., Daryl (Jackie), Tony Carpenter and Antwan Nash; his godchildren, Terri Newton and Aubriana Henderson; his godmother, Debbie Davis; and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews. Brent was a very caring person and was loved by many. Family and friends are invited to celebrate his homecoming at St. Paul Baptist Church. Visitation will be at St. Paul Baptist Church, 49 S. McKean Ave., Donora, PA 15033, from 10 to noon April 20, 2021, followed by a homegoing service at noon. Services entrusted to HOUSE OF LAW INC., www.houseoflawinc.com.
