Angelina (DiEulio) Scirotto-Eppley, 98, formerly of Monessen, died Tuesday, April 13, 2021, in Good Samaritan Hospice House, Wexford. She was born on May 2, 1922, in Naples, Italy, the daughter of the late Pietro and Rosa Cassetta DiEulio. Angelina was a resident of Monessen from 1945 until 1988, when she moved to Florida. While living in Monessen, she raised her family and owned and operated Angie’s Bakery on Sixth Street. She was also a member of the former St. Cajetan Roman Catholic Church and the Sons of Italy Ladies Auxiliary. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, James P. Scirotto; her second husband, William Eppley; a daughter, Geraldine Scirotto; a son, Samuel Scirotto; a brother, Tony DiEulio; and by a sister, Michalina Farbo. Surviving are two sons, Thomas (Barb) Scirotto of California, Pa., Vincent Scirotto of Monessen; four daughters, Rosanne Scirotto of Merritt Island, Fla., Patty (Kenneth) Arnold of Monessen, Annette Amendola of Coraopolis, Luanne (Dwain) May of Cleveland, Ohio; 17 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and by numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, April 15, in DALFONSO-BILLICK FUNERAL HOME INC. AND CREMATION SERVICES, 441 Reed Ave., Monessen. Services will be held with a 9:30 a.m. blessing on Friday in the funeral home, followed by a 10 a.m. funeral Mass in Epiphany of Our Lord Church with the Rev. Michael J. Crookston officiating. Interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery, Monessen. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Vincentian Home, 111 Perrymont Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15237.
