Fire on Summit Avenue

Multiple Mon Valley fire departments responded just after 6 p.m. Sunday to a fire in the 900 block of Summit Avenue in Monessen. The fire was contained quickly. Departments that were on scene included Monessen No. 1, Monessen Hilltop, North Belle Vernon, Rostraver Webster, Washington Township, Carroll Township, Charleroi and Bentleyville. There was no other information available as of press time.
