William A. ‘Bill’ Weightman – Donora

William A. “Bill” Weightman, 80, of Donora, passed away on Monday, April 5, 2021, at his home. He was born in Pittsburgh on June 27, 1940, a son of the late William and Emma Haberstock Weightman. Bill worked in construction prior to his retirement and was a huge Pittsburgh Steelers fan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Nicole; and a brother, John Weightman. Surviving to cherish his memory are his wife, Judith A. “Judy” Simendinger Weightman; three daughters, Nancy A. (David) Rice of Charleroi, Lisa Weightman of Finleyville and Laurie (Chad) Tilley of Quakertown; a son, William A. (Dana) Weightman Jr. of Rostraver Township; nine grandchildren; 12 great- grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Arrangements have been entrusted to ANTHONY L. MASSAFRA FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICE INC., 40 Second St. Ext., Carroll Township/Donora, PA 15033, 724-379-6900, where the family will receive friends from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 10, 2021. A service will be held in the funeral home at 3:30 p.m. Saturday. Private interment will take place at Finleyville Cemetery at the convenience of the family. To be socially responsible during this time of the COVID-19 pandemic, we will continue to limit the attendance to 75 people inside the funeral home at any given time. Guests are asked to obey social distancing guidelines and personal protection guidelines, which include masks within the funeral home. Guests may be asked to limit their visitation times so that all visitors will have the opportunity to pay their respects. Thank you.
