Charolette Gill Jeffers, 86, of Jefferson Hills, passed away on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at Country Care Manor. She was a retired salesclerk for JCPenney in West Mifflin and a member of the former Elizabeth Wesleyan Church. She enjoyed bingo, gardening, playing card games and crossword puzzles, but most of all she loved spending time with her family. Born Jan. 21, 1935, in Martins Ferry, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Ernest and Mildred Sayre Gill and wife of the late Richard C. Jeffers. She is survived by a daughter, Phylis Jeffers of Jefferson Hills; sons, Scott (Cheryl) Jeffers of Monongahela and Stephen (Darlene) Jeffers of Elizabeth Township; grandchildren, Lucas Jeffers, Taylor Jeffers, Tyler (Alyssa) Settelmaier, Brianna Ketzler and Derek Ketzler; four great-grandchildren; sisters, Shirley (Dennis) McKnight of Belle Vernon, Lilly (Ben) Bennett of Elizabeth, Mary Allen of Port Vue and Suzie (David) Fortney of Simpsonville, S.C.; brother, Russell “Skip” Gill of West Mifflin; along with nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by daughter, Kathy Settelmaier and sons, James and Ricky Jeffers. Friends will be received at PAUL E. BEKAVAC FUNERAL HOME, Elizabeth, on Thursday, April 8, 2021, from 1 to 3 p.m. and 5 until the time of service at 7 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Ronald Jeffers officiating. In order to comply with COVID-19 restrictions, guests are required to wear masks and follow CDC social distancing guidelines. You may be asked to limit your visiting time so that all guests will have an opportunity to pay their respects. The family would like to express their understanding to those who are unable to attend due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Burial will be in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville.
