Pa. vaccines move on to Phase 1B

Pennsylvania entered the next phase of COVID-19 vaccinations Monday as the state continues to press forward in its fight against the deadly pandemic.
Gov. Tom Wolf announced Monday that Pennsylvanians in Phase 1B of the state’s plan are now eligible to schedule a COVID-19 vaccination appointment to protect themselves against the virus.
Residents eligible for Phase 1B include:
• People in congregate settings not otherwise specified as long-term care facilities, and anyone receiving home- and community-based services.
• U.S. Postal Service workers.
• Manufacturing workers.
• Clergy and other essential support for houses of worship.
• Public transit workers.
• Education workers.
