Charles E. Fry – Monongahela

Charles E. Fry, 82, of Monongahela, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, April 2, 2021. He was born Dec. 27, 1938, in Harrisburg, son of Clarence Edward and Lacy Marie Leader Fry. Charles was a Vietnam veteran having served in the U.S. Navy as a Hospital Corpsman. He retired in 1986 after 20 years of active duty. He was a member of the NRA and American Legion Post 945. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Carol Palmer Fry; eight children, Kim (Bob) Parantis, Jillian (Nick) Fry, David (Kelli) Dillman, Jeffrey (Cathy) Dillman, January Holley-Fry, Meghan (Raymond) Schiller, Charlie (Lisa) Holley-Fry, Lacey Bartz; 17 grandchildren, Emma, Jae, Courtney, Robert, Heather, Paige, Hailey, Morgan, Jadyn “RJ”, Cristian, Stephanie, Taylor, Nico, Payton, Deacon, Easton and Rosealynn; brother, Sam Fry; and two sisters, Jane Cale and Betty Williams. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Oliver Holley-Fry. There will be no visitations or services. Arrangements are under the direction of the FRYE FUNERAL HOME INC.
