Betty Ann Wilson Davis – North Belle Vernon

Betty Ann Wilson Davis, 74, of North Belle Vernon, passed away Saturday, March 27, 2021, at AGH Jefferson Hospital. Born Jan 20, 1947, in North Charleroi, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Anna Grace Wright Wilson. A lifelong resident of Belle Vernon, Betty was a member of Community of Christ Church in Fayette City, where she served as deacon and was very active in the monthly food and fellowship luncheons. Betty was a retired fabric manager at the former Rag Shop in Belle Vernon and enjoyed vacationing at Anna Maria Island in Florida. She is survived by a son, Melvin J. Davis Jr. of Fayette City; daughter and son-in-law, Laurie and Albert “AC” Brown of Rostraver Township; two grandsons, Joel Davis and Drew Davis; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Dale and Connie Wilson of Pittsburgh and Paul and Bobbi Wilson of League City, Texas; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Lauren Rossi and Don Alexander of Roscoe and Robin and Kenny Rodriguez of Belle Vernon. She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin J. Davis Sr.; and granddaughter, Kristyn Stacey Davis. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 1, at PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME & CREMATIONS LLC, family owned and operated, 626 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, 724-929-6183. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, April 2, at the funeral home with Elder Tom Hamer assisted by Priest Jim Hale of Community of Christ, Fayette City, officiating. Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery. In accordance with state mandates masks MUST be worn and social distancing must be maintained.
