Virginia Sue Smith – Monessen
Virginia Sue Smith, 64, of Monessen, passed away on March 26, 2021, in Jefferson Regional Hospital. She was born in Berkeley Springs, W.Va., daughter of the late Fred and Ruth Mason Crouse. Virginia worked as bartender for 20-plus years at the Monessen ISMA. Surviving are her husband, Donald Lee Smith; sons, Adam Smith and Josh Smith; daughter, Emmalee Smith; grandchildren, Makenzie, Jaxson, Briella, Gienna, Joshua and Devyn; sisters, Tina and husband Art Layne and Cyndi and husband Steven Pierson; brother, Fred and wife Brenda Crouse; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to RHOME FUNERAL HOME INC., 1209 Grand Blvd., Monessen, where friends will be welcomed from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday.
