Donald “Durf” T. Richards, 65, of White Oak, passed away in the comfort of his family on Thursday, March 18, 2021. Donald “Durf” was the son of the late John and Ruth Mae Richards. He was proceeded in death by the late William Richards, Mary Ellen Richards, John Richards and Elizabeth Louise Richards. He is survived by his three daughters, Tina Simko, Amy Shank (Shawn) and Lacey John (John). He was the proud grandfather of six grandchildren, Jason, Nicholas, Kadence, Dalton, Abigail and Sophia. He was one of eight children and is survived by his sisters, Judith Langsdorf and Ruth Mae Saunders; and one brother, Leroy Richards. Donald “Durf” was an avid fisherman and loved spending time with his children, grandchildren and loved his family dearly. He enjoyed taking care of his oldest sister, Ruth Mae Saunders, after her recovery from cancer. Donald was part of the Carpenters Union and was a carpenter and bricklayer and served his community for many years. He will be missed dearly by anyone who knew him. A memorial will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, March 26, 2021, at the Croatian Club, 4400 Third St., McKeesport, PA 15132. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to WILLIAM H.
