Jason McKita – Luzerne, Pa. and Formerly of Charleroi

Jason McKita, 48, of Luzerne, Pa. and formerly of Charleroi, died Tuesday, March 16, 2021, at Geisinger Wyoming Medical Center from complications related to COVID-19. Born in North Charleroi on March 8, 1973, a son of Gay Lynne McKita of Charleroi and the late Richard G. McKita, Jason enjoyed watching professional sports and loved playing baseball in his younger years. In addition to his mother, he is survived by two brothers, Richard M. McKita of Charleroi and Gregg (Mishelle) McKita of Speers; three nephews and a niece, RJ, Dominic, Kelsey and Chase and Jason’s significant other, Rose Huhn. There will be no public visitation.
