Bonnie G. Frankovich, 75, of Monongahela, died Monday, March 15, 2021, in Monongahela Valley Hospital. Born Jan. 18, 1946, in Washington, Pa., she was the daughter of Arthur and Gertrude Williams. A 1964 graduate of Trinity High School, Bonnie was best known for working as a cashier for the past 50 years at Cox’s Market in Monongahela, where she was loved like family. In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing and doing clothing alterations from her home. She was a member of St. Andrew the Apostle Parish in Monongahela. Surviving are a son, Anthony A. Frankovich of Monongahela; a brother, Eddie (Judy) Eisenberg of Monongahela; two sisters, Jamie Behanna and Debra (August) DeMarco, both of Houston, Pa.; three grandchildren, Dustin, Rylee and Karlee; a sister-in-law, Mary Elizabeth (Ed) Rosensteel of Monongahela; a special niece, Rochelle (James) Noone of Monongahela; along with several other nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her husband, Francis R. Frankovich, who died October 18, 1981; two brothers, Carl and Arthur Williams; and two sisters, Josephine Behanna and Marie Eisenberg and a brother-in-law, Clarence Behanna. Friends will be received at MARSHALL MARRA FUNERAL HOME, 216 Chess St., Monongahela, 724-258-6767 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 18. Blessing prayers will begin in the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. Friday, March 19, followed by a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian burial that will be celebrated in St. Andrew the Apostle Parish, 722 West Main St., Monongahela. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Carroll Township. Those who are unable to attend the visitation are encouraged to sign the online guestbook at marshallmarrafuneralhome.com.
