Renee Moeller Sandusky, 45, of Canonsburg, formerly of Whitehall, passed away on Friday, March 12, 2021, surrounded by her family. After graduating from Baldwin-Whitehall High School, Renee went on to study marketing at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. After graduating from college, she worked at Valley Media and later had a successful sales career with Comcast. In 2009, Renee met Jeff Sandusky of Belle Vernon and they wed in 2011. Renee was an avid animal lover, including her two “babies,” Sammy and Rudy. Renee was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Kathryn and Lawrence Brickner; paternal grandparents, Edith (Alex) Schragl and Nicholas Moeller; and many other family members. Renee was joined at the Rainbow Bridge by her best four-legged friend, Shelby. She is survived by her husband, Jeff; mother and stepfather, Elaine (Brickner) and Jack Farar; father, Ken Moeller (Sue Deramo); sister, Nicole (Dennis) Lavelle Jr.; stepsisters, Vickie DeTorre (Chris Barnette) and Michelle (Kevin) Goss; stepbrother, Jack Farar; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Al and Gerry Sandusky; brother-in-law, John (April) Sandusky; nephews and nieces, Connor, Evan, Brady, Rhianna and Alayna Lavelle and Cooper and Ivy Sandusky. She is also survived by many other loving family members and friends. Friends will be received at JOHN F. SLATER FUNERAL HOME INC., 412-881-4100, Brownsville Road, Brentwood, PA 15227, from 3 to 8 p.m. Monday. Masks are required and social distancing guidelines must be adhered to. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 16, 2021, at Our Lady of Hope Parish, St. Gabriel Church. Everyone please meet at church. Interment will follow in Zion Cemetery.
