Hilda May Lowe, 93, was born on Sept. 26, 1927, in North Braddock, to Reg-inald and Ethel Wetherly. Formerly of North Belle Vernon, she passed away on March 4, 2021, in Mesquite, Texas. Hilda grew up in North Braddock. She married R. Wesley Lowe in October of 1948 and they moved to North Belle Vernon and lived there until 1980. They moved to Houston, Texas, and eventually retired to Willis, Texas. After the passing of Wes, Hilda moved to assisted living at Christian Care Communities in Mesquite, Texas. During her working years, she was employed by Southwestern Bell and later in retail sales. Hilda enjoyed gardening, baking, playing bingo, attending polka dances, participating in senior activities and especially early family vacations to Virginia Beach, Va. She was preceded in death by her parents, her two sisters and her husband, Wesley Lowe. Hilda is survived by her children, Marilyn Lowe of Florida and Rick Lowe and his wife Bonnie of Ohio, Ruthi Miller and her husband Curt of Texas; grandchildren, Jason Lowe, Brian Lowe and his wife Kara, Chris Miller, Erin Rivera and her husband Chadd; great-grandchildren, James Lowe, David Lowe, Samuel Lowe, Parker Rivera and Chloë Rivera; plus several nieces and nephews. A private family service was held for Hilda May Lowe and she was laid to rest in Garden Park Cemetery Mausoleum in Conroe, Texas.
