Charles Kenneth Shetterly, 86, of Charleroi, passed away on March 2, 2021, at his southern home in Frostproof, Fla. The son of the late Charles and Alberta Smith Shetterly, Ken was born on Jan. 13, 1935, in Monessen. Ken served his country honorably in the United States Army Reserves and was a member of Charleroi-Monongahela F&AM Lodge 337. Ken is survived by his three sons, Kenneth J. (Beverly) Shetterly of Donora, Keith James Shetterly of Speers and Kevin Jay (Mandy) Shetterly of Finleyville; brothers, Terry (Leslie) Shetterly of Donora and Phillip (Bonnie) Shetterly of Perryopolis; two sisters, Dona (Michael) Brazzon of Perryopolis and Glenda (Thomas) Gasper of Ingram; and his five grandchildren, Kara Joy, Andrea Nicole, Christa Danielle, Scott A. and Andrew J. “A.J.” Shetterly. In addition to his parents, Ken was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Ellison Shetterly; and his brother, Thomas Shetterly. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 11, 2021, at SCHROCK-HOGAN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES INC., 226 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi. A Masonic service will be conducted by Charleroi-Monongahela F&AM Lodge 337 at 7 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, March 12, 2021, at the funeral home with Pastor Charles Cochran officiating. Interment will follow at Mon Valley Memorial Park. Due to COVID-19, masks and social distancing are required inside the funeral home. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.schrock-hogan.com.
