Monongahela officials will enter into a contract extension with the Mid Mon Valley Transit Authority.
City council got the green light Monday morning from Solicitor Todd Pappasergi to approve a new contract that will see the MMVTA provide maintenance and cleaning of two bus shelters in the city.
The shelters are located at Sheetz on East Main Street and the Monongahela Public Library on West Main Street.
The extension will continue the original 2004 contract for an indefinite time period.
“The contracts are good to go,” Pappasergi said. “To me, the extension as written is fine as long as council is fine with it.”
